Swim Center Closure
|
Due to the winter storm warning and expected freezing temperatures, the Swim Center will be closed Saturday, January 24 through the morning session on Tuesday, January 27th. We are planning to reopen the Swim Center for the afternoon session on Tuesday, January 27, weather permitting.

A strong cold front is expected to move through tonight, Jan. 23, bringing very cold temperatures and icy conditions, especially on Saturday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Jan. 25. Conditions may change quickly, so staying informed is key.

The City of Austin encourages everyone to prepare now by signing up for emergency alerts at WarnCentralTexas.org and ReadyCentralTexas.org. These tools provide winter weather safety tips, neighborhood preparedness guides, and the latest updates on weather and road conditions. Stay off icy roads unless absolutely necessary. If you must drive, check road conditions at DriveTexas.org or by calling 800-452-9292.

All CapMetro services (bus, train, Pickup, and Bikeshare) will be suspended by 4PM on Saturday, Jan. 24. Customer Care phone lines (512-474-1200) will be open Saturday until 6PM. Bus Routes 1, 7, 10, 20, 30, 105, 142 and 801 will support transportation to cold weather shelters for those in need of a safe, warm place to stay.

During cold weather, all Austin Public Library branches and Austin Parks and Recreation recreation centers may serve as Warming Centers during regular business hours, offering temporary relief from the cold. PARD will shut off water at water fountains and restrooms at PARD facilities and all golf courses are closed until weather improves.

24-Hour Cold Weather Shelters have been activated Friday night through Sunday night (01/23/2026 - 01/25/2026) and are available for anyone in need of a warm, safe place to stay overnight. You can find current information, including a map of Warming Centers and directions, at AustinTexas.gov/alerts.

City officials, including my office, are monitoring conditions closely and are prepared to respond as needed. I encourage everyone to check on neighbors, especially seniors and those who may need extra help staying warm.

- Stay inside if possible, as roads may become slick and hazardous.
- Dress in warm layers if you must go out and watch out for ice.
- Protect the four Ps: people, pets, plants, and pipes.
- Have a weather kit ready with flashlights, warm blankets, food, and water.
- Keep three feet of space around space heaters. Never heat your home using a kerosene or gas heater, an outdoor grill, a gasoline or propane device, or your oven or stove.

- Report clogged drains or debris in roadways.
- Report downed tree limbs or tree limbs on wires.
- Report unresolved conditions that make your apartment unsafe or uninhabitable.

CCHOA Board Meeting

The January Board meeting will be held, Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 6:30pm at the Community Center. You can also join via video conferencing by clicking here. The Board of Directors welcomes questions during the Homeowners Forum, questions can be submitted to the HOA Office by close of business on the Monday prior to the meeting by calling the HOA manager at 512-288-8663 or email info@circlecranch.info at least a week prior to the meeting. Members will be given 3-minutes to address the board and need to provide a written copy of their concerns. The Board will send a reply through the HOA Office after the meeting.

Irrigation Leak in Circle C? Please Report It!
|
If you notice an irrigation leak or a sprinkler head off in a common area and/or water in the street, please report it directly to the CCHOA office at 512-288-8663 or info@circlecranch.info. Please do not turn off the water or attempt to repair it yourself. This can cause additional damage to the irrigation system. When reporting an irrigation leak, please provide as much information on the location and cross streets. Thank you for your cooperation.
