    Slaughter Update

    As work crews move toward completion of the Slaughter Lane at MoPac intersection improvements, drivers should continue to watch out for areas of construction.  Drivers should be aware of a single-lane closure along Slaughter Lane as crews complete lane striping.  All lanes are expected to reopen after Monday, Sept 9th.   • Driving in the Bicycle Lane The Austin Police Department has been receiving complaints of vehicles driving in the bicycle lane to bypass traffic in the area of Escarpment Blvd and La Crosse Ave, during the morning school drop-off.
