Lifeguard Certification Classes
Circle C Aquatics is proud to be a Licensed Training Provider of the American Red Cross (“ARC”) Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification Program. The ARC Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification Program covers the fundamental skills required of a lifeguard. This certification is required for all lifeguards 15 years an older employed by Circle C Aquatics.
We offer two different certification programs to prospective, and current, employees. The Site Specific Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification is valid only at Circle C Aquatics facilities or under the management of Circle C Aquatics and is valid for one year. The Standard Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification is valid at any aquatics facility that accepts the American Red Cross program and is valid for two years. We also offer recertification courses in the above mentioned programs.
Non-Residents of Circle C will need to fill out the Guest Registration Form prior to registering for the class. Please email the program coordinator (coordinator@ccswim.net) when the form is completed.
Lifeguard Class Registration
Please follow the steps below to register for either a site specific or standard class. Lifeguard classes are only for participants applying to Circle C Aquatics.

2: Wait for the program coordinator to reply with information about the lifeguard class and pre requisites. You must pass the pre requisite swim test before you can register for a lifeguard class.
Lifeguard classes are only for current and prospective employees of Circle C Aquatics and for participants who can complete the following prerequisites:
Swim 50 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, swim 50 more yards (without stopping)
A 20 yard swim, retrieval of a 10lb brick, return to the starting point by kicking on the back with the brick held to the chest with both hands, putting the brick on the pool deck and exiting the pool in 0:50 (fifty seconds) or less.

Registration Fee – $65 (non-refundable)
Course Fee – No charge (*additional equipment fees may apply)
Valid For – One Year
Standard FULL Certification
Registration Fee – $65 (non-refundable)
Course Fee – $195 (*additional equipment fees may apply)
Valid For – Two Years
LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION REVIEW COURSES

The schedule for Site Specific Certification and Standard Certification is the same.
A minimum of 4 students are needed to hold a class. There are no make up days or times, you must be available for the whole session.
