Circle C Aquatics offers Private and Semi-Private swim lessons year round. You may pick the instructor of your choice and find a flexible time that works with both of your schedules. Each lesson is 30 minutes in duration and can be purchased individually or can be purchase in packages of 4 or 8 at a discounted rate. Pricing is based on instructor level and are per participant, per lesson. Semi-Private Lessons are for no more than 2 swimmers and Circle C does not provide the second participant. Basic Instructors are here for the summer to teach. They love kids and focus on basic stroke technique and water safety.Basic Instructors are a perfect choice for beginning swimmers.
Premium Instructors are experienced in teaching swim lessons. They teach all four strokes, swimming technique, and some workings of swim team.Premium Instructors are a good choice for intermediate swimmers.
Elite Instructors are very experienced, have been coaching or swimming competitively for a number of years and have their USA Swimming Coaching Certification. They focus on stroke technique, endurance, and other competitive aspects of swimming including diving and flip turns.Elite Instructor lessons are for advanced swim lessons and those on or preparing for swim team.
Coach Amanda -Elite
Amanda Hartman is the Program Coordinator as well as a Swim Lesson Instructor at Circle C. She has been swimming competitively for over 13 years. She competed in the high school state championships and the USA Swimming state meets in her home state of New Mexico. Amanda has been teaching private swim lessons as well as stroke technique to swimmers of all ages for the past ten years, she has been offering group and private swim instruction here at Circle C since spring of 2009, and has consistently gotten very positive reviews from the parents of her students.
Sophia is back! Sophia taught at Circle C for three summers in high school before going off to college. For two years in college Sophia swam NCAA Division II for Western State Colorado University at the highest altitude collegiate pool in the nation. Prior to swimming in college Sophia swam competitively for 13 years. Sophia is home for the summer before continuing her education with pharmacy school at Texas A&M. Sophia has experience working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Sophia is passionate about the sport of swimming and is excited to be back at her home town pool this summer.
Coach Megan -Premium
Hi! I’m Megan and I have loved swimming for as long as I can remember. I have been a swimmer on the Circle C Seals summer league team for 8 years and have been a volunteer coach there for 2 years. I have also been a volunteer instructor for 3 years. Currently I am on the Bowie High School swim team, going into my junior year. I’m looking forward to helping kids of all ages develop their swimming skills and passion for the sport!
Coach Makena -Basic
Makena is a native Texan who has been working with children in the professional environment for 2 years. She is a certified lifeguard and swim instructor through the Red Cross. Makena integrates personalized technique and fun into her lessons, and is willing to spend time with each individual she works with. She loves working in the water and being in the sun and believes that swimming is the gateway to many wonderful experiences. In her free time, Makena enjoys recreational scuba diving and spending time with her family.
Coach Samuel -Basic
Samuel is a basic instructor at Circle C. He’s been swimming for most of his life and has competed in many swimming events. Samuel’s great with kids and he’s ready to teach them how to swim!
