Road work scheduled for Escarpment Blvd
|
You may have noticed the delineators being removed from Escarpment Blvd. This is being done in advance for the scheduled "overlay" project scheduled from April 20th - 28th. Per the information from the City of Austin's website, this project will be from Slaughter Lane down to Back Bay Lane. More information will be provided as it is received. Water Quality Protection Land
|
Austin Water's Wildland Conservation Division is beginning a wildfire mitigation project on Water Quality Protection Lands behind your home. Work is scheduled to begining this spring and may take several weeks to complete once it has begun, depending on weather.

A Austin Water contractor will maintain an existing shaded fuel break along the perimeter of City of Austin property bordering hoes. During this project:
|
- Crews will clear dead and down material and remove lower limbs from trees in a predetermined area along the property boundary shown in blue in the image below.
- Trimming will be chipped and dispersed on site.
|

Please be aware that contractors follow a specific scope of work to address work identified during a site visit. Neighbors should not dump brush or other material over the fence at any time. Work crews are instructed not to pick up dumped materials, which could add to the public cost of a project. Within the City of Austin, residents may contact Austin Resource Recovery to schedule residential brus pick up.

Shaded fuel breaks are a management strategy used in woodlands to reduce the severity and rate of spread of a potential wildfire and allow for more effective wildfire suppression while contributing to the resilience of this natural system. This type of mitigation work is an important tool in the toolbox, but the most important things homeowners can do is to take appropriate measures on their property using Firewise principles.

Community Wide Garage Sale
The CCHOA will host Circle C's Semi-Annual Garage Sale, Saturday, April 25th. Homeowners are encouraged to host their individual garage sale at their homes on this date. We will be advertising the event (in print and on-line) from 8am-5pm. In addition to the garage sale, the CCHOA will be offering paper shredding by Data Armor and the Salvation Army will be onsite to collect donations at the Community Center (7817 La Crosse Ave) from 10am-2pm or until the trucks are full

- Data Armor will be in the parking lot with their shredding truck for drive-up and shred on the spot service. Your drive-up, open your door or trunk, hand off your papers, and your papers are fed directly into the shredder. Each resident may bring three standard size boxes (16x12x10) or personal records to shred. Paper clips, staples and small binder clips are permitted. Ring binders and books are NOT permitted.
- The Salvation Army will be here to take gently used clothing, furniture and household items and appliances. Appliances including Air Conditioners, Dryers, Electric/Gas Stoves, Heaters, Microwaves, Refrigerators (working), Color TV's (working) and Washing Machines.

***There will NOT be any electronic recycling. To recycle electronics, they can be taken directly to the Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center located at 2514 Business Center Drive, Austin TX 78744. Make your appointment to drop off those electronics at https://www.austintexas.gov/dropoff.

Aquatics News
Long Course Season started March 27, 2026. During Long Course Season, the Swim Center lanes will be set up in Long Course (50 meter) configuration.The pool will be in Long Course all day every Friday, and every Saturday from 7am to 10am. The water will be closed for 30 minutes every Saturday at 10am to convert back to Short Course (25 yard).

Vehicle Thefts
|
We have received reports of an increase in vehicles being broken into or accessed throughout the community. If you are unable to park in your garage, please take extra precautions to protect your belongings. Remove all valuables from your vehicle, including purses, wallets, loose change, and any visible electronics - be sure to check your back seats as well.

Most importantly, always lock your vehicle doors.

Bird Migration
|
Texas is a critical migratory corridor for millions of birds traveling the Central Flyway, with major peaks during spring (March-June) and fall (mid-August-November). Lights Out, Texas! is a community-driven education campaign that asks residences, businesses, and institutions across the Central Flyway to turn off or dim nonessential lights at night during peak spring and fall migration while also addressing window reflections and transparency during the day to reduce bird collisions.

HOA Reminders
We continue to receive reports of residents that are not picking up after their dogs. We also receive complaints that all though the poop is scooped, the bags are then deposited in our common area landscaping, on the trails or left in the water shed entrances. Please do your part as responsible pet owner and also as a Circle C resident by picking up after your dog and depositing the waste bag into a proper trash container. It is not only the responsible thing to do but also the sanitary thing to do.

Holiday Lights & Decoration Reminder

Holiday decorations should comply with the schedule listed in the Declarations of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions - "all decorations including lights need to be removed by January 15th.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

All improvements such as changes to paint color (including repainting your house), roofing color, decks, patio covers, pools, change in fencing, landscaping or any other permanent structure must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Trash and Recycle Cart Storage -
|
We understand that storing trash and recycling carts out of view can sometimes be challenging, and we appreciate that most residents make the effort to comply. Please remember Circle C's governing documents require all trash and recycling carts to be stored out of view.
Storing carts in the driveway is not permitted, and placing them on the side of the house without proper screening does not meet the requirement. Spring is a great time to plant full shrubbery to help screen trash carts. If you are considering another screening option, please submit your project to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) for review and approval. The City of Austin requires that carts be placed at the curb by 5:30am on your pickup day (Monday for all Circle C residents) and put away no later than 10:00pm the same day.

Bulk and brush pickup services are only available through the city's "On Demand" system. Residents must schedule these pickups in advance. To schedule your pickup and learn more about how the program works, please visit the City of Austin's website.

Did you know?
Using another person's trash receptable in Austin may be considered illegal dumping and theft of services which is a violation of Texas Health and Safety Code § 365.012.

Over the last several years, many trees throughout Circle C have become stressed and require extra care and attention. Please follow these best practices to help keep your trees healthy:

- Water wisely
- Compost to enrich the soil - Avoid fertilizing during periods of stress.
- Mulch properly - Cover the root zone, expanding the mulch area if possible, but never pile mulch against the trunk.
- Prune carefully - Limit pruning to broken or dead branches that pose a safety risk. Always follow Oak Wilt prevention pruning guidelines, texasoakwilt.org.
- Avoid weed and feed products - these can damage trees.

- Do not park within 15-feet of a fire hydrant.
- Do not park within 20-feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
- Do not park within 30-feet of a yield sign, stop sign or traffic signal.
- Do not park blocking a sidewalk with your vehicle.

Please respect our common areas, your neighbors yards and their personal space...remember that pets must be confined to an owner's property and leashed at all times if off property. It is the owner's responsibility per City of Austin code to pick up and properly dispose of pet debris. Additionally, pets noise should not become a nuisance or bother to other property owners. We also wanted to remind residents of the City of Austin leash laws. Your dog is required to be on a leash at all times when outside of your property. Please do your part to ensure that your pets are welcome members of our community.

Parking Reminder
|
The parking spaces in front of the main mail center at the Swim Center are reserved for residents picking up their mail. No stopping/parking in front of the Swim Center, in the CDC parking spaces, Fire Zones, No Parking Zones, the crosshatch areas next to handicap parking spots or in any grassy areas. Some of the parking spaces are small, please ensure that your vehicle fits within the marked lines of one space. Additional parking is available along La Crosse Ave if there are not available spaces. Irrigation Leak in Circle C? Please Report It!
|
If you notice an irrigation leak or a sprinkler head off in a common area and/or water in the street, please report it directly to the CCHOA office at 512-288-8663 or info@circlecranch.info. Please do not turn off the water or attempt to repair it yourself. This can cause additional damage to the irrigation system. When reporting an irrigation leak, please provide as much information on the location and cross streets. Thank you for your cooperation.
