1st Assessment Mailed/Emailed

Statements for the First semi-annual assessment were be emailed February 1st to all residents for who we have a valid email address.

For residents without an email address on file, statements will be mailed via USPS around February 1st.
|
There are three options to pay your assessment:
|
- Mail your check to PO Box 163541, Austin Texas 78716
- Make your payment using Bill Pay through your financial institution (your property address is your account number).
- Use the "Online Payment" option through the Circle C HOA website (There is a 2% convenience fee for this option).
|
Payment will NOT be accepted at the HOA Office or in the drop box outside of the office. Do not staple your check to the invoice. Please do not postdate your check. If you have a question regarding your assessment, please contact the Financial office at 512-451-9901. Located on the back of your statement (if emailed, it will be an attachment) is your Annual Meeting notice which includes several options to cast your vote. Electronic voting is back again this year and is now available. You will need your "Unique Code" which can be found on your assessment statement or by calling the Financial office at 512-451-9901. You can still return the 2026 Board of Directors Absentee Ballot and Proxy at the bottom of the notice by mail with your payment.

The Nominating Committee will host a Candidate Meet and Greet, February 11, 2026 at 6:30pm at the Community Center and via Zoom. To join the Candidate Meet and Greet via Zoom, click here. Austin Transportation & Public Works
Project Update: Slaughter Lane corridor
|
Starting Monday, February 9, 2026, eastbound Slaughter Lane between MoPac Expressway and Brodie Lane will be reduced to one lane as part of ongoing corridor improvements. This lane reduction will significantly impact traffic flow, especially during peak school dismissal times. To keep traffic moving and ensure school buses can arrive and depart on schedule, Bowie High School has implemented a Dismissal Traffic Management Plan. Once the contractor reaches the Brodie intersection, westbound Slaughter Lane from Brodie Lane to MoPac Expressway will be reduced to one lane until the paving operation is complete. This work is expected to take five weeks.
|
- Drivers should plan for extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
- Bowie High School leaders have changed their traffic routing plans for afternoon dismissal.
Key Changes for Bowie High School
|
- Early Pickup: Parents needing to pick up students before the end of the day must arrive before 4:00 pm.
- Slaughter Entrance Closure:
|
- At 4:00pm, the Slaughter Lane entrance to Bowie High School will close to incoming traffic.
|
- It will reopen around 5:00pm, after all buses have departed.
|
|
-All parent pickups after 4:00pm will be routed to Wolftrap Drive.
|
|
- Parents may use the Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot on Wolftrap Drive for student pickup.
|
Student & Staff Parking:
- All surface and garage parking exits will be directed to Slaughter Lane
|

MoPac South Express - Tolled Lanes Project
|
Proposal to manage congestion and improve mobility with the addition of one to two variably-priced express lanes in each direction along approximately eight miles of MoPac south of downtown between Cesar Chavez and Slaughter Lane.
|

The project team is working toward the draft Environmental Assessment, which will be shared with the public at the public hearing, anticipated for early 2026
|
|
The Environmental Study has identified the 2C Operational Configuration Option as the Recommended Build Alternative.
|
|
The 2C Configuration includes one express lane from Cesar Chavez to Barton Skyway, two express lanes from Barton Skyway to Convict Hill Road, and one express lane from Convict Hill Road to Slaughter Lane.
|
|
Bicycle and pedestrian facilities are being considered as part of the study process.
|
|
The 2C Configuration will continue to be optimized through public comments received.
|
|

The Circle C Board of Directors is asking resident to cast their vote for the Baby Billboard design they like best. The Baby Billboard is located at the northwest corner of MoPac and Slaughter Lane.

Holiday Lights & Decoration Reminder

Holiday decorations should comply with the schedule listed in the Declarations of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions - "all decorations including lights need to be removed by January 15th.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)
|
All improvements such as changes to paint color (including repainting your house), roofing color, decks, patio covers, pools, change in fencing, landscaping or any other permanent structure must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Trash and Recycle Cart Storage - We understand that trash and recycle carts can be a challenge to store out of view and we are thankful that most residents are able to comply. Please keep in mind that the neighborhood of Circle C requires that all carts be stored out of view from the street. Storing them in the driveway is not permitted and on the side of your house without screening is not enough. Spring is the perfect time to plant full shrubbery to screen carts stored on the side of your home. If you are looking for another way to screen your carts from view, be sure to submit your project plans for review to the Architectural Committee. The City of Austin requires that carts are at the curb by 6:30am the morning of your pick up date (Monday for all Circle C) and put away no later than 10:00pm that same day. Bulk Brush pick up and Bulk pick up to "On Demand" service. To schedule your pick ups, click here to learn on how this works.

Over the last several years, many trees throughout Circle C have become stressed and require extra care and attention. Please follow these best practices to help keep your trees healthy:
|
- Water wisely
- Compost to enrich the soil - Avoid fertilizing during periods of stress.
- Mulch properly - Cover the root zone, expanding the mulch area if possible, but never pile mulch against the trunk.
- Prune carefully - Limit pruning to broken or dead branches that pose a safety risk. Always follow Oak Wilt prevention pruning guidelines, texasoakwilt.org.
- Avoid weed and feed products - these can damage trees.

- Do not park within 15-feet of a fire hydrant.
- Do not park within 20-feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
- Do not park within 30-feet of a yield sign, stop sign or traffic signal.
- Do not park blocking a sidewalk with your vehicle.

Please respect our common areas, your neighbors yards and their personal space...remember that pets must be confined to an owner's property and leashed at all times if off property. It is the owner's responsibility per City of Austin code to pick up and properly dispose of pet debris. Additionally, pets noise should not become a nuisance or bother to other property owners. We also wanted to remind residents of the City of Austin leash laws. Your dog is required to be on a leash at all times when outside of your property. Please do your part to ensure that your pets are welcome members of our community.

Circle C Seals Swim Team News - 2026 Registration Details for NEW SWIMMERS
|
The Circle C Seals Swim Team is excited to announce plans for the upcoming 2026 season! New family registration will be managed through the team's website, and resident families/swimmers interested in joining the team should visit the site at www.ccrseals.swimtopia.com for news and updates.
|

The Circle C Seals are a non-profit, volunteer operated, summer league swim team in Circle C. The season runs late April - June.
|
|
Swimmers ages 5-18 of ALL levels are invited to register during a first come, first served registration period that will open at 10am on Saturday, February 28 on the Circle C Seals website.
|
Some important team notes:
|
- Age group sizes are capped to ensure a safe swimmer-to-coach ratio at all practices/meets and to comply with pool capacity guidelines.
- Because of the number of returning swimmers, some age groups will only have a few available slots. Please set expectations accordingly (and be at your computer at 9:57am on February 28).
- Registration for new swimmers is for the individual swimmer and not for the family. For example, if you have two children, and there is only space in one of their age groups, the other child cannot register this season, but will be able to next season as a sibling of a returning swimmer.
- We do manage a waiting list, please be sure to add your swimmer to this list if the age group is full.
- Swimmers must be 5 by May 1, 2026, and registration is for Circle C Residents Only.

Accepted registrants will be expected to try out on March 24 or 25 (a detailed email will follow registration with more details). New swimmers must be able to swim across the pool one time (25 yards), without help and without touching the lane line or the bottom/side of the pool to join the team. Also, parents are required to meet a minimum number of volunteer shifts during the season to remain in good standing.

Due to the rising postage costs, Circle C HOA will now send all violations that are usually send regular mail via email (if we have a valid email address is on file). If we do not have an email address for the property, you will continue to received printed notices by mail.

Parking Reminder
|
The parking spaces in front of the main mail center at the Swim Center are reserved for residents picking up their mail. No stopping/parking in front of the Swim Center, in the CDC parking spaces, Fire Zones, No Parking Zones, the crosshatch areas next to handicap parking spots or in any grassy areas. Some of the parking spaces are small, please ensure that your vehicle fits within the marked lines of one space. Additional parking is available along La Crosse Ave if there are not available spaces. Irrigation Leak in Circle C? Please Report It!
|
If you notice an irrigation leak or a sprinkler head off in a common area and/or water in the street, please report it directly to the CCHOA office at 512-288-8663 or info@circlecranch.info. Please do not turn off the water or attempt to repair it yourself. This can cause additional damage to the irrigation system. When reporting an irrigation leak, please provide as much information on the location and cross streets. Thank you for your cooperation.
